This video was taken just yesterday:
(Yes, it does snow in Las Vegas.)
It didn't stick, but she didn't mind one bit.
Then, the weather turned around just like that,
and today we found ourselves at the park being kissed on the nose by the toasty sun.
Dad snuck home from work for a while to play with his Little Lovie.
Little Lovie ate it up.
(So did I.)

let your hair down often...
find moments of peace...
make time for family...
use your imagination...
never pass up an opportunity to learn...
always seize the day...
(especially when your cousin leaves her new toys unattended)
and tell those you love just how much and why...
many blessings in 2011.

It's chilly outside, but my heart is warm.
I am in love with this little one.
(I want to shout it from the rooftops!!!)
She is sweet, but feisty.
Hilarious and cuddly.
Just totally Claire.
I have been floating on a cloud for weeks.
I love this time of year.
I reflect on memories.
My heart expands.
And my love for those I love grows deeper.
Though there are many miles between my family and yours,
our hearts are with you...
This holiday season, and always.
Sending you love (and gigantic hugs) for a very beautiful holiday season!

Happy Birthday, Daddy.
I thought I would write you a little birthday poem just so I could say:
Do you know how happy you make me?
I hope you can see.
I love being your Claire Bear.
From now until eternity.
With your sweet, kind smile.
And your strong, safe arms.
I am just so thankful that you are my Daddy, and will always keep me safe from harm.
I love learning about the Mets.
And the cool shoes you get me are suited for a Princess!
You are always the one to sneak me an extra little tasty treat.
And dreaming in your arms cannot be beat.
Thank you for always encourage me to to be ME!
And showing me all of the wonders that you see.
I love that you never miss my tumbling class!
And when we play, our time is really fun and goes really fast!
What a BLAST!
The story of us is off to such a great start!
I love you, Daddy, with my entire heart!
Wait...I can stretch more...
You complete me!
I almost forgot to say,
Thanks for snagging my Mom.
(She is the bomb.)
