EGGcellent Easter Adventures

When Claire woke up on Easter Morning, she knew that the day would be something spectacular.

She peered through her stark white crib to find a lovely lavender tulip basket that the Easter Bunny had left just for her.

(Told you it was lovely.)

Piece by piece, she began to go through all the goodies in her basket.

What did she love the most you ask??
WELL...

It wasn't the super cool movie...

Or the fantastic literature...

The kiddo fell in love with plastic eggs.

(Of course.)

Oh, those bright and colorful eggs!
She was mesmerized by the potential of this perfected plastic.

BUT WAIT.

Something suddenly caught Claire's eye.

She noticed a pair of fuzzy-purple bunny ears in her basket...

You see, our little Claire LOVES bunnies OH-SO-MUCH.

So much so, that she decided to become one herself.
And, of course this makes complete sense. Plastic eggs and bunnies go together like a wink and a smile.

When Claire put the bunny ears on her head, they transformed into a magical thinking cap, and instantly she saw the infinite possibilities for her collection of eggs.

She loved the idea of a bigger, brighter more noteworthy shnaz!

Or, how about an incredible mini-cup?

(Just perfect in size for her itty-bitty hands!)

While taking a sip of imaginary carrot juice from her itty-bitty mini cup, she was stopped dead in her itty-bitty bunny tracks. Another brilliant idea.

These eggs weren't as fun as they could be, she thought.

Something was missing.
SomeBUNNY, actually.

Claire went back to her Easter Basket one last time to see if EB thought of this too, and left an extra special friend behind for her....

HE DID! HE DID!

Claire tried to give Bunz (she named him, not me) the lowdown on the yellow slice of happiness that she held in her hand, but she was talking too fast for Bunz to understand.

So, instead of talking, Bunz suggested they play a game of Carrotball, though Claire was hesitant about whacking one of her precious, plastic eggs around with an oddly over-sized vegetable.

Claire told Bunz she didn't like his idea and suggested they think of something else.

However, Bunz wouldn't budge.

Unfortunately for the bunny, he didn't respond to Claire's liking, so she ditched the idea of a "Bunny Buddy"...

along with the fuzzy-purple bunny ears.

Getting rid of the bunny ears cleared her head of those silly ideas she was having about being a bunny.

She remembered just how much she loved being a little girl!...

Not to mention the fact that she is not too fond of carrots. They are too difficult to chew when you only have eight teeth!

Even though the bunny adventure ended rather quickly for little Miss Claire, her love affair with plastic eggs is still sunny-side up...

We hope that your Easter was just as magical as ours.

XOXO, The Teitlers
